Attorney Parisi is both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant. He has focused his entire career in law on estate and trust matters. Gerard has performed estate planning, drafted wills, trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Proxies for several hundreds of clients. He has also assisted in settling countless estates while representing trustees and executors while guiding them through the estate settlement process.
Gerard has also personally handled almost every aspect of estate litigation from the initial inception and pleadings, to depositions before trial, to conducting full jury trials from opening argument to verdict. His particularized knowledge of estate and trust matters is invaluable in arguing the specific and sometimes subtle positions that need to be made in estate and trust trial work. He has represented clients in will contests, executor removal proceedings, contested accountings, and more. He is often appointed by the NY Surrogate and Supreme Courts as a court-appointed attorney and as a Court Evaluator in estate matters.
